When Romina learns that her husband has been cheating on her, she turns to the town’s folk healer for help and obtains a love potion. But it seems the potion is working on everyone except her husband.
Cheating Notes
Romina acquires a love potion from a folk healer and uses it to seduce her husband Lando, who has a mistress and has gotten cold towards her (37:02). It seems to work initially when Lando responds positively to her sexual advance, but then he stops and tells her that he's tired.
Frustrated, Romina lets Marco, a tricycle driver and a friend of Lando, accompany her to the seaside. When he admits to her that Lando has a mistress named Sue, which he witnessed Lando screwing at a party at the beginning of the film, Romina makes out with him (42:07).
Romina asks the folk healer to make her a stronger love potion and she uses it to seduce Lando again (52:10). It seems to work this time, but they are interrupted by a call from Sue, who needs medical attention, and Lando leaves him for the night to attend to Sue, using an excuse that he is needed for work.
After confirming that Lando did leave their house to attend to Sue, Romina goes to the seaside to mull things over and is approached by Sharmaine, Sue's assistant in her market stall. Sharmaine seems to be affected by Romina's love potion and makes a move on her. They end up having lesbian sex (59:51).
Romina asking for love potions seems to affect her mental health, so she goes back to the folk healer for help. After subjecting her to a ritual in a river, Romina begins the folk healer's young assistant as her husband, so she starts making love to her (1:22:56), but before he could get to penetrate her or anything, she returns to her senses and pushes him off her.
Romina goes to Sue's house, where the latter had just sex with her husband, and confront them (1:32:26). It seems that her love potion also has an effect on Sue. Sue starts apologizing to her and makes a sexual advance on her. Thinking that her husband's mistress getting attracted to her is sort of a revenge on her husband, she engages her in lesbian sex in front of him.
Eventually, Lando joins them and initially, Romina is happy when his attention is on her and he is on top of her, but when he switches his attention to Sue, and doesn't come back to her for the rest of the threesome, she is again disappointed and starts to realize that her husband has really fallen out of love with her and in with another woman.
