Ex-football player Mirko returns to his hometown and starts some shady business with his old friend Slavko.
Mirko, an average football player at the end of his career, is back in his hometown because of a knee injury. His family owns a restaurant on the verge of collapsing, both because of the economic unprofitability and because of the plans of local criminals interested in the plot where the restaurant is located. One of those criminals is Slavko, Mirko's childhood friend, who suddenly returns to his life when he needs him the most.
Mirko is a mediocre football player in the twilight of his career, with an uncertain future in the sport, returning to his native Banjaluka to live with his dementia-inflicted mother, mentally-challenged brother, and a girlfriend who, far from their native home, is begging for attention and affection, finding them in the wrong ways.
