@stealthwifelover, I see your point about the part where the son called her mom and the rich guy's daughter answered the phone. Yes, the daughter not objecting to the mommy word could mean that she became her stepmother, or it is possible that no marriage happened, maybe she just became a live-in girlfriend/kept woman and the rich guy just told her daughter to treat her as her mom. So that would make her either a cheating wife or a cheating gf later when she's still accepting clients. However, that part is not clear-cut too. Maybe something happened to her relationship with the rich dude already, especially if she's just a live-in gf. Maybe they already separated. And the wake at the end, I'm not sure if the rich dude is there and he's the one who facilitated and spent for that wake because it looks expensive, but the shot is an overhead shot and only the k..d can be positively identified because he fainted and we can see his face from the overhead shot. If we did confirm that he's the one who spent for it, then maybe she did become his wife.
All in all, I'd put this movie in the gray area and will put it in the thread I just created:
