Belgravia (UK, 2020, tv series, s1 with six episodes)
A soap opera set in Regency England beginning with the battle of Waterloo. Similar to Downton Abbey, but set a century earlier. Very well made television.
Susan is the prettiest woman in the series. She's unhappily married to Oliver, a lazy, privileged son of prosperous merchant. John is the nephew of a very wealthy earl, and lives a spendthrift life waiting to inherit his uncle's estate. He's engaged unhappily to Maria. Susan decides to seduce John and his inheritence.

23:56 Susan meets John in the park, tells her maid she'll have to let him think he's seducing her (and not the other way around). He tells her about his rooms out of town. She says she's never been to that town, says she's must make a pilgrimage to see it.
Perhaps he could suggest a day that would suit him?
26:00 Asks her husband and inlaws to use the carriage the next day to travel to this town for shopping. Discourages all from joining her.
34:52 Susan and John in John's rooms, dressing after sex.

18:11 Susan and John meet in his rooms, share a tender kiss. He asks her to find some information out for him. She rubs his thigh and asks to go to dinner. Scene ends with them kissing romantically, a prelude to sex.

Oh oh, someone's pregnant.
5:22 Susan confronts John. Tells him she's pregnant and he's the father. Asks her if she's going to take care of it. Nope. Then complains how his life is falling apart (it is). Susan tells him her father is rich, she'll divorce Oliver and then they can marry. He laughs at her. "Do you seriously think that I john Bellasis, whose ancestors fought in the crusades, would marry the divorced daughter-in-law of a dirty tradesman? What a joke."
And so Susan is rejected and she leaves but takes some very important papers with her, guaranteeing John will lose his inheritance.
17:00 Susan goes on bended knee to her mother in law and they devise a plan for Susan and Oliver to raise the baby as Oliver's. This will likely work as Oliver hasn't been able to get Susan pregnant.
Series 2 fast forwards 20 years in the future and centres around the life of Frederick, the now very wealthy son of Susan and Oliver (and John). It can be viewed on yesmovies and cbc Gem.
