Abie mourns after the supposed death of Michael, her fiance who is a soldier sent on a military mission. She finds solace in her supposedly soon-to-be father-in-law, Roldan, and falls for him. But when Michael returns, their world turns upside down.
A drunk Abie takes her top off, revealing her breasts, and starts making out with her father-in-law, thinking he is Michael. He resists her and leaves her room (46:20).
Abie and her father-in-law have sex. (50:30) This time, she is not drunk.
Michael turns out to be alive and comes home. Suffering from PTSD, he makes some questionable actions, including pointing a gun at Abie's co-worker, whom he thinks is the one Abie is having an affair with.
With Michael being unstable and all, Abie tells her father-in-law that she wishes they could go back to how things were, when Michael was not around. They kiss and start having sex in the living room. Michael comes home and nearly catches them in the act, or at least that's what is shown to us (1:16:28).

During dinner, Michael reveals to Abie and his father that he actually saw them having sex when he came home earlier. We see the scene of Abie and her father-in-law's earlier lovemaking in the living room again, but this time with Michael seeing them in the act (1:19:23). Michael brings out a gun and points it at his fiancee and his father...
