Hitomi has ended her "affair" with her boss when she sees that he will not divorce his wife, who has just given birth. She moves to her sister's place and gets entangled in a love triangle with her and her live-in boyfriend. She finds out later that it is difficult to step in between a man and a woman who are passionately expressing their true feelings to each other, so she steps aside.
Cheating Notes
Hitomi witnesses her sister entertaining a client at the bar she works at and going with him to a love hotel, where she has sex with him (23:14). There isn't an exchange of money so we're not sure if she prostituted herself. Back at home later, her sister tells her that she doesn't usually sleep with clients at the bar, maybe insinuating that she did it this because she just had a fight with her live-in boyfriend after she sees him trying to bang Hitomi. Her boyfriend left a few days earlier but returned that day.
