Elena and Antonio seem not to be made for each other. They are too different in terms of character, life choices, worldview, and the way they relate to others. They are total opposites. However, they are overwhelmed by a mutual attraction they're trying hard to avoid; but to which they succumb to.
Cheating Notes
Elena, who has a boyfriend, falls in love with her best friend's boyfriend, who was being a jerk to her when they first met. Their cheating scenes in an auto-repair shop (28:00) and on the beach (35:00) have no sex scenes in them, not even kissing, maybe just some hugging and an after-sex scene on the beach where they are lying naked on a beach towel, with Elena's boobs obscured as she is lying on her stomach. But, they do have sex later in the movie when they are already married (1:23:44). We see Elena's boob, but she's bald because she's sick with cancer and they do it on a medical bed in a hospital.
Elena's best friend and the best friend have a sex scene (on the couch) with some nudity at 15:46.

Perhaps the best part in this movie is a non-erotic scene at the end, where Elena tries to confess to her best friend that she fell in love with her boyfriend. She is doing all this introductory talk to her about how friends should not lie to each other and then suddenly, her best friend bursts into tears and confess to her that she's having an affair with Elena's own boyfriend! So the scene becomes emotional and funny at the same time, and along with their gay friend, Elena can't help but laugh at the whole thing.
