A woman leaves her husband and offsprings without saying goodbye. While she struggles to build a new life, her family is left completely uncertain of her fate. The radical nature of her departure appears to be an opportunity as well as a trauma. The film is structured in three episodes, each showing a different perspective of the subject. The first one accompanies the woman as she creates a new life for herself in Vienna and Bratislava. Although her past remains untold, she seems driven by it. The second episode portrays the life of her abandoned husband and their offsprings, two years after her disappearance. Their days are still dominated by her mysterious leaving. The final episode returns to the family's last evening together.
Cheating Notes
Nora leaves her husband and offsprings without saying goodbye and travels to a least a couple of other European countries. A young guy starts hitting on her at a grocery store (7:55). She has sex with him. It's an after-sex scene only, but we do see her naked as she gets off the bed.
We see the Nora's naked behind in the bathroom (22:52).
Nora walks around the room naked (34:18).
Nora meets Etela in Bratilava and watches her do an erotic perfomance (live sex) on stage (44:55). She has a boyfriend, which she introduces to Nora after the show.
The husband has sex with Monika, his partner at the law firm and his wife's friend, and their daughter walks in on them (47:51).
Nora and Etela's boyfriend become co-workers so she gets even closer to the two. After having dinner with them and Etela's two young sons, Nora cries on the street. Etela's boyfriend consoles her and she kisses him (1:16:22), but he doesn't engage and asks her what she's doing so she walks away.
