Eva calls Arturo her husband even if they aren't married yet. When Arturo is jailed because of drug trafficking, Eva shoulders all the responsibilities in raising their baby. Seeing that Eva is struggling in even buying milk for her baby, a local thug helps her financially but in the end, demands sex from her. Due to hopelessness, Eva comes with her friend Sharon to work at the club and starts selling her body for money. Eventually, Eva decides to return to her hometown in the countryside and reunites with Morelos, a man who likes her even back then and introduces to her the meaning of undying love and the true essence of a family. Morelos offers Eva marriage, which she accepts, and they get married. More than a decade later, Arturo gets his parole. He comes to Eva's hometown, hoping to reclaim her and their daughter but a shocking truth unlocks the reality.
