The popular author of erotic novels Ryosuke is experiencing a difficult life crisis. A few years ago, he crossed the Yakuza road, who brutally raped his beloved Mariko, after which the girl committed suicide. Now Ryosuke seems to be happily married to another woman Mako, even whose name reminds of his former love. However, health problems force him to move away from his wife, and this jeopardizes his marriage. Depressed, Ryosuke meets a fugitive from a psychiatric hospital, like two drops of water similar to Mariko.

Cheating Notes

Ryosuke wakes up and finds his mistress Megu having sex with Matsumoto, his friend who stays for the night (28:26). He doesn't disturb them and instead comes home to his wife Mako, who he sees return from a date (?) with Takeda, another friend of his. He talks to Takeda before he leaves, civilly at that. Now Mako seems to know about Megu because she jokes that it looks like Megu dumped him. In turn, Takeda asks if she enjoyed Takeda's company, to which she replies they just talked. So I'm not sure what setup Ryosuke has with Mako at this point. It doesn't seem to be an open relationship per se because he gets jealous when he asks her if she went out with Takeda at  37:44.

Ryosuke and Mako have a threesome with the psychiatric hospital escapee who looks like Ryosuke's ex-girlfriend and could be in fact her (55:30, 55:16).

After a fight with Ryosuke, Mako has sex with Takeda (1:05:32).

Mako sends a masked party invitation to Ryosuke. At the party, Ryosuke enters a room where an orgy is going on and among the participants, finds a masked Mako having sex with a masked guy (1:27:20). When he takes off the guy's mask, he finds out that it's Takeda.
