Mute Hee-Jin is working as a clerk in a fishing resort in the Korean wilderness; selling baits, food and occasionally her body to the fishing tourists. One day she falls in love with Hyun-Shik, who is on the run from the police, and rescues him with a fish hook when he tries to commit suicide.
Cheating Notes
It seems that the reason why Hyun-Shik is on the run from the police is because he killed his wife and her lover. Through his dream (at 12:39 minutes), we see a brief flashback scene of his wife having sex with her lover and then noise of broken glass interrupting them. After that, we see the lifeless body of his wife lying on the floor and on her own pool of blood. Then, we see her body get dragged across the floor by someone (probably Hyun-Shik) and get piled on top of her lover's also lifeless body.
