Boris Novikov, an employee of the criminal investigation department, is forced to retire due to health reasons. Still a strong man, he is not used to sitting idle. And when a childhood friend offers Boris on favorable terms to buy a small restaurant located on the highway, far from Peter, he immediately agrees.
