After a wild night on the town, a dashing British airline pilot is attacked by thugs, and when he wakes in hospital he finds himself being cared for by a beautiful Doctor, Emy Wong. He falls in love with her, but Emy gravely informs him that, in the ancient Asian custom, she is betrothed to a man that she has never met.

Aside from cheating with the pilot on the man she is betrothed to, Dr. Emy Wong also cheats unintentionally on the pilot when she thinks that he left her but it was actually just a miscommunication or lack thereof. She nearly gets fucked in a hotel room by a guy who saved her from committing suicide. Because he tells her that she's no damn good and it's the reason why her man supposedly left her, she goes on to learn sex skills from a brothel madam, and the lesson includes actual sex with a guy. She becomes a prostitute for a while, putting her newfound skills to good use until the pilot is able to find her again. They get married, but their happiness doesn't last as he dies not too long after.
