Kvaska (2007)
Young man in the prison is obsessed with a singer who is to perform in a new musical its director is currently auditioning for. He escapes and through complex and often very funny series of events ends up being the main star of the musical, only to be discovered by the police the day before the premiere…OK, enough spoilers! The story keeps going on… Lots of great dialogs, awesome music and singing, and ever-twisting story (plus, the parallels between the play’s script and the real story) makes this one of the most enjoyable Czech movies I’ve seen in years (and I’ve seen many)! Definitely check it out if you like comedy, drama, musicals, and theater.
Bl..d Ties (TV Series) (2007)
Bl..d Ties is a Canadian television series based on the Bl..d Books by Tanya Huff; the show was created by Peter Mohan. It is set in Toronto, Canada and has a similar premise to an earlier series also set in Toronto, Forever Knight, in which a vampire assists police in dealing with crime. It premiered in the United States on March 11, 2007 on Lifetime Television, and during fall of 2007 on Citytv and Space in Canada. In May 2008, Lifetime declined to renew the series.

Impossibly Yours (2007)

However, Anja’s desire for love is not fulfilled in their relationship. When she is not careful, Daniel scalds himself and is admitted to hospital. Subsequently, Anja drinks more alcohol and begins an affair with Paul. When Marlene and Leonhard find out, Leonhard files for divorce. After an alcohol poisoning, Anja goes to rehab. During an outing with the therapy group, Anja throws herself out of a window and dies.
