A high school teacher married to the mayor begins a dangerous affair with a young asylum seeker, leading to tragic results. Their relationship reveals complex dynamics of power, privilege and moral ambiguity.
Eva is a popular teacher who is married to the local mayor. Although he has betrayed her trust, she still plans to support his election campaign, and so she starts to volunteer at a local refugee center. Here, she grows close to eighteen-year-old refugee Amir, who charms her with his poetic talents. But the closer they get, the less control she has over the situation.
Cheating Notes
Eva, a high school teacher married to the mayor, meets Amir at the refugee center and they bond immediately through cigarettes. When he can't stay at his current place anymore, she lets him stay at her house. She checks out his shirtless body as she hands him his bed sheets (33:37). Her husband comes home and doesn't approve of Amir staying initially, and thinks that it's just her petty revenge for catching him cheating on her with his party-mate, but he eventually warms up to the boy.
Eva teaches Amir how to swim in the public pool. This leads to them kissing in the water (36:46).
Amir confesses that he lied about his identity so he can reapply for asylum. This gains him Eva's sympathy and they have sex (46:46).
Eva tells Amir in her car that what happened between them was wrong and shouldn't happen again. He nods, but then he reaches for her legs and starts fingering her (49:25). She tilts her head up in pleasure, and he leans in to kiss her.
Eva rides Amir on his bedroom floor (50:55).
Eva and Amir have a passionate petting session in the water in the public pool (54:30).
Eva lies on the bed after having sex with Amir, looking good with a sheet covering her naked body (56:00). Her husband comes home unexpectedly, and they rush to put their clothes back on while he calls her name as he comes inside the house. While her husband is climbing the stairs, they come out of the bedroom where they screwed and part ways, with him exiting the house through the balcony, and her going inside her bedroom. She immediately comes out again, all sweaty and wearing a robe, to welcome her husband home. She makes out with him while looking to see if Amir has escaped successfully through the balcony (58:12). Her husband finds her look hot and screws her hard from behind against the bookshelf.
Eva and Amir make a quick inter-island travel to celebrate his application and get some food. They kiss on the ferry (1:01:47).
Eva rides Amir on his bedroom floor again (1:07:45). It is shot and executed better than when she first rode him and is therefore hotter. She then comes back to bed and lies beside her husband, who wakes up and apologizes for accusing her of cheating with Amir earlier that day. It's quite hot to see him apologizing for accusing her of cheating, when in fact she just screwed her lover in the next room.
Eva sees Amir talking to a female student and gets jealous. Amir pacifies her by making love to her in her office (1:13:31), but her friend/co-teacher comes in and interrupts them.
Eva initiates giving Amir a blowjob in her car but he doesn't want it at this point so she stops (1:27:21).
