The story of Empress Wu told softcore-style.

Wu Mei entered the palace and became the concubine of Emperor Taizong in his later years and was very favored by him. Wu Mei and Prince Li Zhi, Taizong's nephew had mutual affection. Taizong witnessed the two cheating. In 649 AD, Emperor Taizong died in anger. After his death, Prince Li Zhi succeeded to the throne as Emperor Gaozong. Li Zhi and Wu Mei had an affair early on. After Taizong died, Li Zhi took Wu Mei back to his palace. Gaozong was cowardly, but Wu Mei was diligent and proactive. Wu Mei personally killed her daughter and put the blame on Gaozong, so the real power fell into her hands, and finally, she ascended the throne as Empress Wu Zetian.
