Isabel works hard in her fish-selling business as she is determined to make ends meet for her mother and younger sister. Dodong, a fisherman and her regular driver, has a romantic interest in her. He forces himself on her one day, but she gives in, realizing that she also has fallen for him. She enters into a relationship with him. One day, Isabel's mother gets hospitalized and they need more money for her hospital bills. Isabel is forced into prostitution and meets her one and only client, the affluent Nelson. She begins an affair with him, to the chagrin of Dodong. She pacifies Dodong with sex when he goes amok after finding out about her affair, but she can't give him an assurance that she will stay with him because, unlike Nelson, Dodong isn't able to fill her financial needs. She dumps Dodong and after the death of her mother and finding out that her younger sister is impregnated by her exploitative college professor, she follows Nelson to the big city. Will her decision turn out to be right?
