This surrealistic comedy follows the life of Haruo Maekawa, a young man who makes a living catching squid. Haruo is obsessed with catching a legendary giant squid rumored to live in Tokyo Bay. Haruo's uncle Takashi, fallen on hard times, comes to stay with his nephew until he can get back on his feet. Uncle Takashi is addicted to energy drinks, and seduces any woman in sight, including Haruo's girlfriend Rika. While praying at a Shintō shrine, Uncle Takashi is bitten in the scrotum by a poisonous snake and dies. The uncle is destined to spend the afterlife in Hell unless his nephew and girlfriend can rescue him from the King of Hell.
Cheating Notes
In the early part of the movie, Rika actually has another boyfriend (Iwata) and she's cheating on him with Haruo. The three of them are co-workers. Iwata suspects that something's going on between the two. He asks Haruo at work if he fucked Iwata the other day because someone had seen them together. When Haruo nods silently, Iwata picks up some dirt and throws it at him while asking him how many times he fucked her. The scene cuts off without us hearing what Haruo's reply is.
Iwata catches Rika and Haruo having sex in Haruo's car. The two men have a fistfight, after which, we see Rika humping her boyfriend on a bed. The fistfight wasn't shown and both men suffered injuries, so it isn't clear if Rika fucking her boyfriend is a reward for winning the match or a consolation for losing to the man who cuckolded him.
Haruo's uncle comes to stay with him and gets a new girlfriend named Shiho. One night, she comes over and stays for the night. Since Haruo's place is small, she and his uncle have to share the bed with him. Haruo wakes up in the middle of the night with Shiho's face really close to his. She is naked and getting fucked from behind by his uncle. In the heat of the moment, Shiho begins kissing Haruo and continues to do so while his uncle continues on pounding her from behind. At some point, Haruo's uncle has realized that the two are kissing but he doesn't seem to mind. He only tells Haruo to stop just before he and Shiho reach orgasm. Easily the hottest scene for me.
Iwata dies and Rika officially becomes Haruo's girlfriend. While Haruo is fucking Rika doggy-style, he sees the name of his uncle written on her back with a marker. He knows that his uncle likes to do this with every woman he fucks, so that means he has also fucked and marked Rika. He pauses for a moment then resumes on fucking her. Right after their sex scene, we see Rika in the bathtub together with Haruo's uncle. He is trying to wash off his written name on her back. She tells him that Haruo was really angry when he saw it and that she thought she was able to wash it off when she took a bath sometime before having sex with Haruo.
In the latter part of the film, Rika kisses the King of Hell in exchange for releasing Haruo and his uncle.
Summary
The incidental threesome scene among Haruo, his uncle, and his uncle's girlfriend is easily the hottest scene in this movie. Rika humping Haruo in his car and then later fucking her boyfriend after the two guys have a fistfight is nice too. Rika is as slutty as them cheating sluts come. It would have been nice if we actually saw Haruo's uncle fucking her too because that part was just implied.
