Renata lives isolated in the countryside with her teenage daughter and her husband, conceiving fear as a common feeling. The arrival of a stranger awakens in her the desire for all that was asleep.

The husband goes somewhere, I'm not sure where, but he doesn't come back for the rest of the film. In his absence, a stranger in need of medical attention makes his way to the farm. The wife and daughter tend to him and make him stay with them for a while.
The wife and daughter warm up to the stranger. One night, the wife gets naked, hops into the stranger's bed, and makes love to him. It's a long sex scene but it's dark.
Later, the stranger initiates lovemaking with the wife by eating her pussy first. They go inside the bathroom and fuck in the shower in a standing position. Thankfully, the scene is bright this time.
The daughter sees the affair between her mom and the stranger unfold but aside from maybe getting jealous at some point, she generally seems to accept it. There's an open-ended scene near the end of the film where she could have initiated a kiss with the stranger but the scene cuts off immediately, so I'm not sure if they really did it but it becomes the reason for the wife to boot the stranger out.
