Hyun-dae and Min-ju thought one of them getting married would end the sex-partner relationship. However, they can't hold in their desires and Hyun-dae destroys himself with sex, while Min-ju can't give up what she can't have. At the same time, they have a complicated and ugly relationship with past characters.

Cheating Notes
The movie has three cheating wives and one cheating mistress, several hot sex scenes and has a fairly complex plot. Must watch with subtitles to get the nuances of the plot and appreciate the drama. For example, without subtitles, you might get confused why the rich wife of a doctor sits in the back seat of the car while he drives, making it look like he is her driver and not her husband.
Plus, some parts of the movie are non-linear, a.k.a flashback scenes are shown throughout without signifying that they are flashbacks, so those can also get confusing without the subtitles. I'll just point out some plot points and scenes relating to cheating below.
Hyun-dae (male, painter and teacher in an art school) and Min-ju (female, broadcaster) are in a 6-month sexual relationship with each other. Min-ju is a 7-year mistress of Dr. Cheol-su, who is trying to divorce his rich wife (an art gallery owner) to be with her. Hyun-dae, meanwhile, gets married and tries to fuck Min-ju again. She doesn't want to at first, tells him to fuck his own wife, but eventually, she relents.
Hyun-dae fucks Mi-sook, a married student of his. First, on a table at school, and then later in a car. She falls in love with him and tells him that she told her husband about them.
Choon-bae, a senior painter, is the professor/master of Hyun-dae. He's a prick who lets his juniors do all the work. One night, he calls Hyun-dae to drink with him in a videoke bar and then makes him foot all the bill. That's the kind of prick he is.
Choon-bae likes to tie his models up, paint them, and then fuck them. In the middle of the movie, Hyun-dae begins to suspect that the model in the bondage painting that Choon-bae gave to them is his wife and that Choon-bae fucked her (we get a visual of that), just like he fucked his other bondage models. Hyun-dae looks at the neck of his sleeping wife and confirms that it has some rope markings on it.
Hyun-dae fucks Dr. Cheol-su's wife (the rich art gallery owner) when she becomes his art patron.
(Spoiler) Mi-sook (the married student that Hyun-dae fucked), it turns out is the wife of Choon-bae.
