Set during the pre-war years, the story depicts the forbidden love between Yupadee, the wife of an old wealthy timber tycoon, and the tycoon’s nephew, Sang-Mong. Yupadee seduces Sang-Mong and the two start an affair. When her husband finds out, he chains them together all day and night. The movie is the latest adaptation of Malai Choopinij’s classic 1943 novel.
